I find Workdate so exciting because I never know whom I'm going on a "date" with next. The lunches or after-work meetings offer a great atmosphere for networking with other HR people. Most of the time we talk about business-related topics, but we also talk privately. No matter what it's about, I can broaden my horizons every time.

Workdate means getting involved in an encounter without any expectations and meeting people you wouldn't otherwise meet. It is kind of a "blind date" among working people. It is very recommendable if you want to look beyond your own nose.

Yesterday I had my first Workdate in Vienna - a very fine conversation with a committed consultant colleague. Workdate brings people together in a cool way, who probably would never have met otherwise. More of this, please.
